i love the devil wears prada

“The devil wears Prada” is one of my favorite movies. The actress who acts in this film is Meryl Streep as “Miranda priestly” and Anna Hathaway as “Andy”. Their acting is really good and naturally. Meryl Streep could act as a woman who has strong character. She acts as an editor in fashion magazine “Runaway” which very famous in America.

The opening of this film started with a morning of some woman who lives in New York.  They started a morning with a same activity but were really different. The movie maker wants to show a different between a common woman and classy woman.  As we know that common woman is not very pay attention with their look. They don’t very thinking about clothes, shoes, accessories or everything which branded.  Different with the classy woman who have much money, they’re really care about what their wear, and how were they look today. I like the opening in this film. The movie maker can show us that fashion is very important for woman. Many branded things which be wore by woman is very beautiful and of course make theme really classy.

Andy had graduated from university with journalistic major. Her dream is going to be a journalist and could write anything in any magazine that she wants. One day she getting know by human resource that runaway need an assistant for Miranda priestly. Miranda priestly is the editor in fashion magazine who make “Runaway” going to be one of the magazine which have big prestige in America.  Andy will apply for this job to looking for some experience although she had never read this magazine. Many people in this company said that this job is very difficult and they said that “many women will be killer for this job”.

Andy didn’t know who woman will see meet.  She a little bit confused where Miranda come to office and everybody get really nervous. Then, when she met Miranda for the first time, Miranda looked didn’t interest to Andy because she was thinking that Andy didn’t have taste in fashion. Miranda could see everything from the way Andy wear clothes. She said that “you haven’t taste in fashion”. But Andy could convince Miranda that even she didn’t have taste in fashion and didn’t have branded clothes or glamorous, but she was smart and could learn fast. Miranda start interest to Andy, and finally she accepts Andy as her second assistant. There is first assistant in Miranda’s office called Emily.  She was really proud about her position as first assistant of Miranda priestly. She was arrogant woman, and she said to Andy that this job is really difficult but could open any chance for their future because trough this job they’re could get any promotion. And she told Andy that she would went to Paris in several months with Miranda and could get promotion soon. And Emily said that interest in fashion was really crucial for this job and she laugh at Andy and said that a woman like Andy couldn’t do this job. Even that, Andy was really amazing because finally she could understand that this job could help her to gain her dream. She planned to work in this company for just one year, and then she will move to other magazine and will write everything that she wants.
